Chinese girl

Did you use a photo ref, or did you have a model? Just curious, I always like to see what a painting was done from. This girl must be beautiful, whoever she is. I'm particularly drawn to her lips, that beautiful shiny plum color looks great. She looks kind of sad, rather than defiant like her hair and clothing would suggest. Her eyes and eyebrows look very delicate. I like the contrast between her classic beauty and the spiked collar and hair. My only criticism is the uneven gradiations in her skin; it would look better if the colors were smoother. But, having never used watercolors before, I have no idea how easy or difficult it would be to do that. Well, i was just stopping in from the painter's club to see this, and I thought I'd give you my two cents. Nice work
